Donate to the PTSA and "Support the Nucleus" of the Atoms!
The nucleus is the central and most important part of a group, forming the basis for its activity and growth. In the PTSA, we believe people are the nucleus of the Atoms community.
Together, we sponsor many programs and activities for our students, parents, and staff:
- School Program Support—Teacher Grants for student enrichment and staff development
- Mental Health Awareness Events—"Angst" movie and dinner night and Digital Families community event
- Best Buddies - creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Welcome Back Teacher Breakfast and Teacher Appreciation celebration
- PROMise —Prom dresses, suits, and accessories donation program with AHS marketing class
- Back to School Backpack program in conjunction with Kids R First
- AHS Food Pantry
- Student support and involvement with Leadership activities
- Community Outreach— "Hidden in Plain Sight", Turkeys for our custodians
- Senior Scholarships - 4 scholarships are available
- All Night Graduation Celebration—Safe, alcohol and drug-free all-night event at Audrey Moore Recreation Center following the graduation ceremony
