THANK YOU to the families, staff and community members who have made donations to the AHS PTSA Pantry. Your donations have made it possible for us to continue to assist AHS students and their families during the school closure. Monetary donations that have been donated to the pantry since school has closed are being used to purchase grocery store gift cards for distribution in coordination with our AHS counseling services. Distance Learning and Education During the COVID-19 Pandemic

FCPS Superintendent Scott Brabrand joined Fairfax County Council PTA and local PTA presidents the evening of Monday, April 27, 2020 to answer questions about distance learning and other ways in which education is changing during the COVID-19 pandemic. This 50-minute discussion covered three topics:

1. How did we get here? Understanding the rollout of face-to-face learning
2. What can we expect moving forward?
3. How will FCPS improve consistency and communication?

The discussion can be viewed here.
